The world has never expected more of our students (or us for that matter). Young people are expected to have all the skills they need to navigate the middle school and high school, but these skills are not explicitly taught and the pace of life does not allow for those skills to be learned through osmosis. This is all on the heels of a pandemic that changed the landscape of everything we thought we knew. 

 

As teachers and parents, we believe that we all need resources and strategies to truly cultivate the life we seek. Honing these skills requires practice and collaboration - not just for students who are struggling with their brilliant and energetic minds, but those who can feel paralyzed by their perfectionism amidst the chaos.

 

Through goal setting, reflection, time management, self-advocacy, and boundary setting we support young people in navigating the daily grind of school and finding success in daily responsibilities.
